The mission of the Nanotechnology Cluster Programme is to foster the growth of Nanotechnology based business, supporting implementation of nano and micro technologies and future materials in Finnish companies.

Accordingly, the Cluster Programme combines technology companies, world class expertise in universities and research institutes all over Finland, and aims at applications in industries like ultra-precision technologies, photonics, ICT, electronics, mechanical engineering, chemical, health and well-being.

Nanotechnology Cluster Programme has local Centres of Expertise in Helsinki region, Oulu, Kokkola, Jyväskylä, Mikkeli, Joensuu, Turku and Tampere, and Coordination office in Helsinki region. Together this nationwide network reaches more than 90% of Finnish nano- and microtechnology related activities and Stakeholders: Nanotechnology Cluster Programme is an efficient gateway to the Finnish expertise in nano and closely related technologies.
